Kreative Blogger Award Part 1

Oh it is to laugh Cat’s & kittens…hey it’s me yer ol friend the Dysfunctional Unit…and ya know I’ d been working on this Kreative Blogger video fer about a week kept tweaking it, never quite happy, all the while, in the mean time 
of course, continuing to write other crap, continue to be plagued and haunted by shit I hear comin out my TV while I sit here tap, tap ,tappin away…
Anyway so I was startin a new post about some crazy ass shit…and well if you’ll bear with me let me lay it out this way…
See I’ve noticed three particular trends lately.
First separate and beyond the recent Trayvon Martin shooting there has been a tremendous amount of news lately focusing on race relations and even more so on how African Americans still deal with tremendous social pressures up to and including killings, at the hands of white people. Over the last three episodes of “Sunday Morning” on CBS, we have carefully reexamined the Rodney King LA incident (I know, I know, it was the ten year anniversary) as well as almost other news programs on all other channels, and the definite intention of all this attention has been to relate it to Trayvon and to remind white people they are inherently racist and other African Americans that whitey still wants to keep them, at best, bound to a life of abject servitude.

Next this whole bullying phenomenon, I mean not a somehow vast increase in bullying (though I have seen studies lol)…I mean this constant discussion of bullying, the media focus, the movie, just the word repeated over and over again, bullying, bullying, bullying…Why…I mean okay I know I know, it’s fer the chil’ren, jes wanna protect the chil’ren…okay bear with me here oh most astute and diligent reader, I’ll tie it altogether in my own inimitable fashion…
Lastly and of course not leastly is the whole OWS group and their supporters, including the media which continues a relentless anti capitalist, anti corporate (which of course makes my little dog spin because aren’t media conglomerates capitalistic corporations)anti bank, gas companies, stock market, and rich white conservative, campaign…
See here’s what happens I begin to hear…inklings…random feedback comin from many different sources…..my lil dog spins round and round chasin these various “firefly” ideas yippin and yappin…it’s jes that once in awhile he catches one and comes up with somethin’
Here’s what I’ve come up with…Trayvon Martin…Rodney King…all the attention…it is to remind white American that we still are a racist bunch of bastards (and bitches excuse me ladies fer leavin you out, though most assuredly [if you are not already planning to vote for the Pres] this “campaign” is designed to sway you) , to make many of us feel guilty, maybe, jes maybe it will be enough to sway a number of middle of the road voters over to President Obama’s side in the upcoming election…
During the campaign, when ever the Presidents record or lack of accomplishments, or failure to solve the nations problems are being used against him in debates, in conservative medias, or in new countless social media forums, they are going to claim that the other side (of course I mean the mean spirited rich environment, old folk, kid, race hating republicans are just bullies…they’re all just bullies. Bullying poor President Obama, after all none of this is his fault, his or his parties fault, it is Bush, Bush and his evil henchmen that have caused so much trouble with their illegal wars and i mean if it wasn’t fro Pres Obama, his leadership and firm guidance of course we would be so much worse off. And to suggest other wise is just bullying and you know it…
And ya know, if that doesn’t work well…I mean the whole system must be broken, if somehow a republican wins that means the banks and evil corporations have somehow rigged the election, screwing the black man once again and bullying the American people and hell if the OWS and all of their support groups are gonna take that…it will be time for action my brothers, time to take to the streets, and strike at the “man”, or any near by white person as an acceptable stand in…Rioting, looting, death and…martial law? (I readily admit that this idea is not fully, or originally mine but is a common theme in conservative media that I have adapted in my dysfunctional way)
It is like a blue print put forward by a community organizer (activist/instigator depending I guess). Now who do we know that fits that role…Okay well I’m of 
course being rhetorical….but here’s where I guess it fits in with the whole kreative blogger award…
See like I was workin on somethin completely different (and not quite gettin it right due to my ideas and attempts beginning to outpace both my abilities and the software’s lol) but this morning. hearing these three subjects addressed first on Sunday Morning, then on “Face the Nation” (Please Bob retire already) suddenly the whole picture came together in my mind and I jumped up from the computer and began to ramblerant the whole thing to Lil’ Mouse who was trying to watch the latest episode of Ricky Gervais on HBO (go Karl!).

I had to get ready for work, knew I needed to at least start the draft (so I wouldn’t ferget the whole thing by the time I got home) so I was trying to give her just the basic jist of my idea…
After about two and a half minutes she looked at me and said oh so sweetly “You should use that for your kreative blogger award, ’cause it is certainly took some creative thinking to come up with.”
She, in her own special loving way meant it sarcastically of course, but to my dysfunctional brain it was like I saw the whole thing suddenly so perfectly that I sat down and wrote the meat of this post in about five minutes (usually my posts might take a day or two to compose lol).
Anyway of course, here I am now late on Sunday night, tryin like hell to wrap up what has become now ‘Part 1‘ of my Kreative Blogger Award post but still feeling positive about my strange theory on these three seemingly disparate (premeditatively generated?) social obsessions and my acknowledgement, that as Lil Mouse pointed out as far as the dysu posts are concerned, this is my most oft exhibited kreative ability…oh it is to laugh…
Remember I am not stating that I am right that this is going to happen, only that the possibility of these being linked can be logically argued given the fully acknowledged end desires and the extremely capable abilities of the President and his re-election staff, his appointees, advisers and supporters in this “game(of thrones[HBO])”.
If not for the fact that there are times I am right in these mad prognostications (one of the reasons I decide to start this blog) or for the fact that I feel pretty confident about my reasoning on at least two of the three (I’ll leave it to you to guess which)
And of course it is now early Monday, I need to be up in a little over five hours, and I will need at least an hour to relax and come down after finally gettin this posted (lolsidc) but f n’ a everyone I believe part 1 is done…

Well okay..well..I mean F ‘n A everybody so I’ve written a lot about the state of our Federal Government, I mean probably only a little less than I have written about how women are ruining America (“Wha…wha…wha…what?”
you the reader ask…look I don’t have time to go back and re cover every crazy thing I have ever said…go back here and look it up…today I got bigger fish on my mind…today I’m kind’a pissed off…
Look so by now if you are paying any attention at all you know that the General Services Administration or GSA just spent a whopping $8000,000 (+) on planning and vacation(s) fer 300 
employee’s….that’s the easy breezy cover girl version tryin to review all the different facets, facts, well in the long run it just made me too pissed off to continue…and then of course my little dog starts spinning and I start looking up all this info on the fed.gov websites and I read all the new age hoo doo ass bullshit and my little dog spins round and round(here’s where Lil’ Mouse usually tells me “to just stop lookin’”) and well…well…well it is to laugh really.
Cause I know nothin’s gonna change…oh some of us will get mad and blog about it(most of course, much more professionally than the ol Dysu)…there will be investigations (themselves well topping the 800,000 price tag of the VV.) Some heads will roll, careers cut short (or in some cases just diverted)…but the system itself, the great and mighty machine will keep rollin along…
See ’cause ya know what else I know is that we got just a small glimpse, a peek behind the curtain, but thank God we did, and in this instance thank God fer Social Media, the magicians keep F’n up because of social media, the slight of hand is hard to pull off when you keep posting gloating pictures of how you fleeced the marks

I think the idea started good, but it was co-opted by politicios…okay what do I mean…Go look at their site…lot’s of talk, little action..okay again I guess clarification..
Better yet, here’s what I propose, tax revolt, we all go into our boss, or accountant(s) and claim all the dependents we can, then when tax time comes next year don’t fill out one document, let April 15th come and go without feelin’ bad or worryin. Every time you do start to feel a twang of guilt just picture this guy again

And yea, that might not work fer yer situation, I mean normally I get a refund so that’s the way I could do it but, you might be in a higher tax bracket than me (lol like that would be hard) what I mean is if enough of us say ya know what we ain’t paying anymore till you get yer crap together well what are they gonna do, jail a million people, jail ten million people…now that’s a Tea Party Movement I can get behind
Wait I’m sorry what…What about the roads? What about old people? What about the poor? Well what I believe is we’re Americans, we can figure it out without the help of the money wasters in Washington ( I mean not me but one of you out there, ya don’t want me in charge, I’m no better at making important decision than obviously most of our government officials). I mean it’s coming my fellow Americans the pace of growth by our federal government is fiscally unsustainable. I may not be good at practical application of these concepts, but I understand them quite well…and well ya know I know, and I hope I’m not throwin off yer good mood fer later when you sit down to watch “Two Broke Girls” or what the fuck ever…I mean I hate ta bring this shit up…

Do ya know what that is?
It’s the sound of the crickets chirping after I asked any…any body to defend Obamacare…How about one of your friends? C’mon someone out there in wordpress land must know some one who knows someone who at least supports the idea of this idea?
I mean, okay, so I got more likes for my last post than any other, but after visiting some of these sites I am often stunned and wonder what was it about what I wrote that these individuals “liked”. Reading what they and their “followers” are saying I just can’t understand why they aren’t searching for the “hate” button…or
I have possibly a new theory, perhaps if you are following some fifty plus blogs it becomes quite a chore to actually read every post ( I know, I am following (seriously) about ten or so and am always a page (or more lol)behind in my emails, and it does become tempting somedays to just click “like” without actually reading…but ya know what? I like reading these blogs, (and commenting, hopefully not to the host’s annoyance[aww jesus here's that dysu again lol])and only one of them is written by another cantankerous old curmudgeon bitchin’ ’bout how we’ve lost our way as a country. And though we are obviously very different we share this one thing in common…

Okay so yea, even though I’m postin my novel, working on another one, posting (at least sometimes) to the other blog I work on, posting old poems,writing and posting new poetry, it is really this blog which features my 
(admittedly strong[arguably crazy]) opinions on culture, society, religion, taxes, and politics (a lot of f-in politics…) that is my real love.
I don’t know why, just the way my brain chemicals function I guess.
But I don’t just talk it I mean, I listen, in my own fashion, take it in, news of all sorts, political, cultural, science, medicine, religion…and not just news but history, I love history of all sorts, w
atched hours of documentaries, read, read, and more reading…even in the heights of my drug fueled madness, the other dude’s I ran with thought I was weirdo(even among the dysfunctional I was dysfunctional) because of my obsession for all of the above (as well as writing the amount of fights I got into for writing lol)…
Anyway sometimes once in awhile I get a flash. They don’t always come true don’t get me wrong, I’m not sayin I’m psychic (much) or anything, its’ just my little dog…in my brain…have I not mentioned him?
Okay well I know that sounds weird but again, anyway, here’s what hit me yesterday.
All this saber rattling going on right now in Iran…seems kind’a silly I know, I know…but many Americans, and certainly the Israelis are taking their statements of wanting to become a nuclear power, and wiping Israel and America off the map, very seriously. The more Pres. Ahmadinejad speaks the more nervous many of the people in the region, and in America become.
Now I like many intelligent thinking people can’t really see Iran launching nukes at Israel, and yes it may all just be political posturing, a power play for Iran to gain some sort of respectability among it’s allies for standing up against the great Satan (just a cultural side note, we the infidels of the great Satan, United States of America, are known world wide as the culturally insensitive and intolerant ones[?or so we are told again and again by our media, our media stars, many of our politicians and most of the adults teaching our children?oh it is to laugh) Wow anyway that is way off track...
I hear he's scheduled to host SNL late 2013.
Here’s what I’m predicting, now, let me remind you that I have already predicted that Gabrielle Gifford will be heavily involved in Obama’s run, possibly (my guess)even v.p. candidate….but that has nothing to do with Iran now does it?
No what I am predicting regarding Iran is a serious escalation through-out the early summer of ramped up threats and saber rattling by Iran and Pres. Ahmadinejad, we might even see a second “bay of pigs” scenario play out, ya know threats of war and the nuclear clock and the the stage is set for Pres. Obama, who is certainly struggling in the polls, to swoop in and save the day…And yes, I know that I am suggesting that our own govt(secret govt with little g) is assisting(and or fomenting) rebellion in Iran for the purpose of later defusing(or appearing too) said threat.
Geez I mean hell, I try not to buy into too many One World Government Conspiracy theories but Mr. Obama, you’re making that very hard.
The trick isn’t whether I can trust you, or so many of the politicians, both right and left, who, like you believe in a theory of Centralized Planning, (of the ruling monied elite ruling a system of fairness for everyone but yourselves) the trick is in deciphering the truth through the ultimate layers of obfuscating bullshit…
Lol I don’t really, of course, think that is possible. But once in awhile my lil dog catches his tail, and comes up with something..usually, as in this case, it becomes a question of “If I were he what would I do” not necessarily if I were in that position, but if I were that other person in this situation, get it..
Anyway, with Gabrielle Gifford as his running mate, having lowered fuel prices(till 2013 muha-ha-ha[evil laugh]), and brought peace and accord to the Middle East Pres Obama will guarantee himself a second term.
But hey it may not happen this way…what do I know I’m Dysfunctional.
Is The Lorax a Bore Or Wh*re Act?

Okay so hey, Cat’s n’ kittens it’s me the ol’ Dysu and ya’ know I mean I don’t if I’ve ever mentioned it or not but I am huge fan on Dr. Seuss, Or Theodore Geisel. now a few of you may know that I am a poet, and have a number of 
poems (including the ever popular “Poem to the car on my Butt”) that I have written in a “Seussian” rhythm.
I was raised on Dr. Seuss. “Mulberry Street” was my favorite as a boy and as I grew older “500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins” and “Oobleck” both ranked high on my reading list. But, don’t get me wrong, I loved all his books, the standards, early childhood, “Hop on Pop”, early readers “Cat in the Hat” “Green Eggs & Ham”, older childhood..”500 Hats…” the “Horton” books…”Yertle the Turtle…Even the PD Eastman books bring back fond memories who can forget “Go Dog Go” (have a tat based on that book)”Are You My Mother”, “Sammy The Seal”, “Sam & The Firefly” okay well anyway yea, you get the picture…
An here I better stop and admit that I know Mr. Geisel’s politics…well, I know what’s been said I’ve done some reading, (and recent review due to this article)…this isn’t about his politics, because I never had the chance to ask him myself, instead it’s about my interpretation, what, I feel has become of his legacy, and finally ’bout the ol loveable liberal fuzz ball himself the Lorax…
Listen, I’ve read Dr. Seuss and PD Eastman books to all my children, including my little four year old (so that’s happening now [course I mean not right now]see)….okay I mean…
I love Dr. Seuss, but not necessarily his works that have been turned into films…take the Grinch for instance…the common train of thought is that Dr. Seuss meant the Grinch to be a condemnation of materialism and commercialism at Christmas time…but is that what the book is about??
I mean when I was a kid of course, I wasn’t that smart but, I read the book, saw the little cartoon during Holidays (oh the glorious days), and I always knew the Grinch, was evil ( he just was of course[some Grinch's are like that]) . The Grinch lacked goodwill toward others, he envied what others had, not just what they had in material goods,but their good times as well. To the Grinch the material goods were all just noisy annoying appliance
s( to the Who’s good naturedness). The Grinch believed it was the “things” that gave the Who’s happiness so he stole what he believed was important to the them…the Who’s didn’t care about material goods, so the Grinch learned his lesson.
The lesson he learned was that good will and the triumph of the Spirit (Christmas Morning) could not only overcome selfishness and evil…but transform it. That is the lesson that both the book and the original cartoon impart. i reviewed both before writing this just in case I have been mistaken in my interpretation…but I am not.
I do not know If Dr. Seuss wanted to send a different message, I never got the chance to talk to him. I have read his bio, and read critiques people have written…they seem to have read a different story than I did. The message of the story as they tell it is much more akin to the movie with Jim Carrey. In the movie, the Grinch is not evil, he has just been misunderstood and bullied by the Who’s who are (now) very greedy in their nature and seem overly preoccupied with shopping and being annoyingly judgmental of each other. In the movie, it is the Grinch who teaches the Who’s the true meaning of Christmas…wha..wha…What?? That is not the same story at all. Maybe that’s the story he somehow meant to 
tell, maybe the people of Hollywood were not trying to rewrite history and Dr. Seuss did mean to pen a tale about how bad materialism and consumerist culture are (while simultaneously merchandising millions of dollars of Christmas time Grinchey product profit lolsidc).
Though democrats and liberals hail Dr. Seuss as one of their own, the democrats of the first half of this century are nothing like modern democrats. If you read all of the early Dr. Seuss books you will see most, if not all, contain positive pro American value based messages. “Horton Hatches an Egg” the “Horton” they ignored features a mother bird abandoning her egg to let Horton care for it while she lazies about on a beach. It is clearly about personal responsibility and accountability and the rewards of sticking with a difficult task.
In “Oobleck” the King, decides he doesn’t like the weather (He wants something new to come down from the sky)so he goes about trying to control it through magic and science….he tries to control the weather through magic and science…hmmm? Anyway of course the King learns that it is folly to think he can control the sky.
Now I don’t know, like I’ve always said I am dysfunctional but those seem to be pretty old fashioned conservative (even dare I say it Christian) values…I mean, nothing wrong with that, that is why they have become American Classics…unlike his later books (or are the internet rumors true and these are not the works of the actual Dr. Seuss). The book we are talking about today, which no matter how it’s being portrayed right now, has never been, comparatively, as popular as say the “Horton” Books, or even say “Yertle…” or even “I Can Lick Thirty Tigers Today”.
Oh it had it’s time, mostly the 80′s and 90′s, and it’s place, mostly in public schools, but a strong dedicated base has kept this book as a core of it’s new religion. Yes, many parents have read this book over and over again to their little sprouts growing up. even now, as young adults, those kids are living among and fighting for the tress, occupying many city parks all across America.
So here he comes, “The Lorax” (in theaters March 2nd) is tailor made for Hollywood with his love “the forest hate the human pro-environmental anti corporation” message I mean the fuzzy guy’s a tree huggers wet dream…Here’s the thing I mean I don’t really care…”the Lorax”(in theaters March 2nd) is by far his worst book, it’s choppy and about as subtle as a boot up the ass. In fact it’s a lot like getting a boot up the ass, over and over again…all right well my bias is showing…it’s not that I’m not in favor of trees…it’s just a bad book…I’ve tried to like it…hell I used to own a copy of “The 5000 fingers of Dr. T” so I’ve given everything the guy has done a fair shake, but I’m sorry “the Lorax”(in theaters March 2nd) it’s just boring…
But that’s not what I wanna talk about though…I wanna talk about hypocrisy, wanna talk about idiocracy. What is the theme, of this film, is it green?
Okay well I don’t even wanna get started the point is…How much energy is wasted making films, not just this film, but all films in a given year? How much in the way of resources? Films aren’t needed yet Hollywood keeps churning them out. And it’s not just in the making of the films, but the promoting of those shows, the stars hitting the talk show circuit, the marketing, the…bla, bla, bla, Hollywood is the last industry to preach to me about using energy wisely. But people buy it and they buy it in the f-ing millions, maybe billions.
And speaking of buying, what about all the f-ing “Lorax” stuffed dolls that will be sold, how many “Lorax” kids meals with “Scolding Lorax” toy will be consumed all packed in cute little cardboard (made from trees) happy meal boxes…What happened to the anti corporate, anti capitalist message, oh that’s right, the companies you like are just companies, not evil corporations. Hollywood is not corporate, Hollywood is anti-corporate, you know this because it is in their corporate motto…What a load of f-ing…
I mean this is the thing the exact kind of thing that makes me dysfunctional (and I won’t even mention how 80% or more of those f-ing “Lorax” toys are going to end up as landfill). The super consuming, anti-corporate, throw away, Eco-friendly society. My little dog spins round and round.
Kindler Gentler War?

Stunningly enough Cats & Kittens when a people declare war on another country, it usually means they are pissed off at them. I mean over and over on the news I hear why the Afghans, The Iraqis, the Pakistani’s the…okay really
it’s not the people of those countries specifically, it is a segment (debatable on how large a segment) of these populations who follow a particular religion. And actually if we want to be honest (and ya’ know I like honesty) it is really only a portion of those individuals (again debatable regarding how large a percentage) who are actively pursuing harm against our country, our people, our soldiers…
What have we done to have pissed them off so bad…well what day is it?
Peaceful Muslims disdain violent protest techniques such as burnin..wait what?
I know I know, we burnt copies of the Qur’an (if we did? Remember the lie re: Guantanamo the bad Bush torture gulag[but good Obama temporary detainment facility] the burnt Book story out of Gitmo turned out to be false). Before that what was it? Oh yea our bombing raids to neutralize enemy targets accidentally killed a number of women and children, (housed by the enemy in and among said military targets [should I mock their put on concern for their countrymen, or their hypocrisy for calling us murders after flying planes into non military targets full of civilians]). How bout the time before that? Or before that one? Wait what got these people pissed at us in the first place? Wasn’t it something about Kentucky Fried Chicken, I mean I know I hate that crap too but…No wait it was Saddam wasn’t it. We propped up a puppet dictator, yea but didn’t we admit our mistake and go back and kill that guy? Oh you mean the idea of propping up a puppet dictator? Oh no, you mean the other Puppet guy in Iran what was his name? Okay well, yea I can see yer point so…
But wait hold on how come we did that? What was going on in that region which made America, some thousands of miles away determined to try not once but twice to find a friend of America to run the place?
But, you (my imaginary verbal adversary) counter, “What about the time…?” then I counter ‘oh yea well…”
And we can go back on the ol’ timeline quite a ways in this region, thousands of years of animosity, a boiling, roiling stew of prejudice and hate. How did we get in the middle of all that w
hen all we really wanna do is open up a McFalafel House?
Oh yea Israel, our Judea-Christian heritage demands that we step up and protect Israel, after all she is our sister country in God right. Only using God in this argument seems a little like the pot telling the kettle it’s a better shade of black…

Ya see Israel isn’t just our allies, they have (fer the most part) joined modern society, like America, live and allow themselves to be guided by a cohesive world view. The same cannot be said for our mutual enemy in this conflict.
Oh I mean yea sure they have computers and digital satellite link up and every amenity our oil money can buy, but they don’t let women drive cars, hack off body parts for petty crimes, and kill homosexuals all in line with the Institutional Quasi Religo-Government. (I know I know you libs think a Republican’s running the show over there…oh no wait, if that were the case then you’d be hot to stop them).
This recent brouhaha over the burning of the Qur’an is a prime example. If this case were reversed, lets say some Muslims students, during an angry protest at…oh let me pick a college at random…say Berkley accidentally burned some Bibles, it would be at the least, non news. But if it got picked up by the news media it would be reported as, “understandable due to their anger at the treatment of Muslims all over this country by racially insensitive white people.”
Oh sure there would be some out cry from southern churches, a threatened Qur’an burning, but America’s leaders would condemn such action openly and threaten legal action, eventually the worst that would happen to those students, here in evil intolerant America, is that they would get a brief bit of fame on NPR, but the book deal would fall through.
Now yer just bein silly. Two flags, one of 'em doesn't even have any stars...c'mon now!
Alright so let me be serious for a minute because in the end this is the companion piece to the “pauliacs post” from 2/26. See there was a time when American’s could travel all over the world and have no fear, or very little fear of being harmed, simply because they were Americans. So what has changed, are we that much worse of a country? No socially we are much better than we were say a century ago. Are we on a global military mission of conquest? No, if we want what you have America’s got other tools with which to bargain.
What has made us a target then…Our weakness. Nothing emboldens yer enemies like weakness, fear to act, fear to act swiftly, devastatingly.
That’s what speak softly and carry a big stick meant.
If, the next time we started a war, we went into it meaning to kick ass and win, (in it to win it as they say) far fewer lives would be lost and far less dollars spent.
It is trying to fight these kinder gentler wars that are not only dragging the wars out fer interminable lengths, but allowing the enemy time to re-group and rally.
We are in a war everybody, our enemy does not just see this as a war with just America, this is religious war, this is the ultimate battle.
I know, I know, we’re nice people, we don’t judge others, (unless this was some Christian right wing nut job group here in the ol U.S.A.) we’re the kinder gentler America with new and improved wishy-washy action. Our enemies however, are not. They are determined, resolute, and in for the long haul.
Okay! All right! Now yer just showin off! I mean four flags, two more and you get a roller coaster!
And possibly, just possibly, I’d be less dysfunctional over the whole issue if their world leaders would condemn the actions of this supposed minority (as ours would) but no instead the voices of world leaders, including our own, ring out in understanding and ask if they would be so kind to, possibly, maybe, consider the possibility, of maybe not killing American’s for awhile…

Okay so hey there cat’s & Kittens, It’s me the Ol’ Dysu & one of the things I have learned recently is you do not wanna piss off Ron Paul supporters. There is a real genuflectual idolatry here,(not unlike supporters of Pres Obama) 
and the passion one can only describe as true believerism.
Listen, I will put aside my whole diatribe that only we, the American people can save ourselves from ourselves for this post, (which was my plan originally) and instead focus on Rep. Paul due to my being 
pissed off at a number of Pauliacs who I got into an electronic conversation with moments ago.
Listen…um…Ladies and Gentlemen, and this goes for all you other Pauliacs, stop claiming Rep. Paul’s record shows he is for limited Government, the facts do not support your argument. The facts show that, not only does he wholly support big fed pork, but that he is duplicitous by nature in his manipulation of the system.
But, let’s just say for the sake of argument, that he is telling the truth here, this so called constitutional genius, that still leaves us with his attitude regarding foreign policy.
Now I know I have addressed this before but, upon review (and after my e-con with the faithful) I do not think I was clear or forceful enough in my arguments as to why this “blowback” idea is a disaster for American interest.
Despite what Rep. Paul, his advisers and supporters would have you believe the world is not like a big neighborhood.
The world is much more akin to a prison yard with no guards. I know most of you have not had the pleasure so let me paint a picture. There are mostly average people, good, bad, just tryin to get along, do their time etc. then there are a couple bad apples, some real bad eggs as it were. If there is no one to step up, stand up, these bullies will run rampant. 
The thing is no amount of reasoning, no well thought out intellectual argument will sway these individuals. Only force.
Deliver enough force, with fierce quick and decisive action and amazingly enough you have less bullies stepping up in the yard in the future, yer allies will respect you more and those on the fence will (as long as you stay strong) become yer allies.
That is the way it works. I mean I’m sorry, I’d like it to be different too.
I’d like their to be rainbows and unicorns around every corner the problem is…I live here, on earth.
I’m not sure where you Pauliacs live, and if you want to support him that’s yer business. Just get yer facts straight.
He is in fact, when it comes to spending, just another politician, when it comes to defense of our national interest in the world, he is something far more dangerous.
The Republican Race for Second Place pt. 2

Okay so where were we? Oh yea the expert..the Constitutional scholar, the Reagan conservative, the right wing Roosevelt, the self proclaimed expert on all things governmental Mr Newton “Newt” Leroy Gingrich. Now again don’t 
get me wrong Cats and Kittens, I like Newt, read his books, think he’s smart, an important voice in today’s theater of ideas (pronounced with a European accent if done correctly) as it were. But he is not, 
cannot possibly be for limited government, not when he is also for larger government. Newt, God bless his soul is one of countless well educated monied elite who truly believe that it is up to Government to direct the people.
I’m sure an example would be good here, and we all know how much I like wasting words on those, but here goes I’ll try. There are a lot of Americans who believe in an open immigration policy, just open borders no restrictions, these people for the most part identify with the democratic party, I know I used to be a democrat and an open border supporter (oh wait I still am, though I also consider myself a conservative [put that in yer judgmental pipes and smoke it]). Okay wait where was..oh yes…there are a lot of people who support open borders. There are also a lot of people, mostly conservative this time, who favor closed, even (facistly in style) walled borders (don’t even get me started on that asshat idea). Overall however there are very few people who favor some sort of amnesty situation again. But Newt, he doesn’t care about that, boldly enough, he tells us what is best…I mean they all do it…but there is no one who does it quite like the Newtster.
Now to be fair much of the Newtfervor is based on the the three fold idea that a: he’s not Romney, b:he’s not Romney and finally c:he will clean the Presidents clock in a debate. Okay lets examine this shall we. Both a & b can be supported by strong arguments, so I mean ya got me there but c’s where ya lose me.
Now don’t get me wrong…again…but Newt is like the really smart guy in debate class that annoyed the crap out of all the other kids, the President, Mr. Obama, he’s like the cool kid…if the American people were all debate coaches no doubt Newt would win. But most Americans, I believe at this point, would struggle to spell debate let alone understand the complex issues discussed in one. Instead, all Pres. Obama will need to do is, like the kid on the spot in Bill & Ted’s excellent Adventure, throw up his hands with an “America Rocks” and the crowd will go wild. I’m sorry republicans and conservatives, intellect no longer wins the game (if it ever did?). So even if Newt can somehow convince half his own party that they don’t really want the policies they think they want…that they want his policies instead, I do not believe he will be able to take the election.
Okay so where does that leave us I mean true, small fed conservatives (by god American independents who know the libertarian party’s got no chance in hell of getting a viable candidate) I mean there is no one else is there no true limited government candidate, no one else
who..okay well..might as well deal with him I mean the guy just won’t go away so lets talk about he other “constitutional expert” in the field Mr. Paul, Ron Paul, SenatorPaul whatever I mean jumped up Jesus get the hint Buddy.
Listen Mr. Paul, I’ll put aside the fact that your district got and gets a lot of federal pork money that you only recently seemed to be concerned about and buy into the idea you want to, in essence, disassemble most of the fed, I’m on board baby love it, I’m mean yer a little loony and look like ol’ Pat Paulsen (who also ran a comedic campaign fer president)
but I’ll go ahead and buy what yer sellin…or would…and here unfortunately is where you lose me and every right thinking American.
Here is a quote I pulled from the top of the Ron Paul website under the heading “foreign policy”

This is his main argument for his foreign policy stance. This is simplistic idealistic drivel at best, as a foreign policy directing how we deal with other countries in the world who, even if they don’t hate us, covet our resources and fertile farmlands, is a further weakening of America’s stance in an increasingly hostile world.
I mean but here he is, still, the guy won’t away, he’s everywhere (like Droopy), his “Ron”-ites, or “Paul”-ists (whatever I’m sure they have a trendy catch phrase name) seem to be everywhere and the left loves him…but again why shouldn’t they, he a: hates the military and b: will never ever beat President Obama. I mean if there was one candidate who can make even Newt look presidential it’s good ol’ Sen. Paul.
So again we are back to my original concern. I hear lots of confident talk by conservative radio hosts and commentators but I for one do not share there sense of surety, their (unfounded as far as my experience goes) faith in the modern American voter.
Half of the young people I work with cannot spell…okay wait let me rephrase that many of the young adults I work with cannot spell; I mean simple everyday words. They have no idea what is going on in the big wide world unless it involves entertainment, sex, alcohol and or drugs (or best if its all of them combined). They don’t only not know about things like the deficit, taxes, profit margins, etc they don’t want to know about them.
But nearly all of those kids love Obama, and they love the idea of redistribution of wealth. All it means to them is that they can get that new 70 inch flat screen, that new smart phone.
Does any republican candidate, whichever old tired rich white guy we decide to send up against Obama have anything to compare to that, free money and a chicken in every pot displayed in high def?
I don’t think so, but you know me, I’m dysfunctional so hell I could just as easily be wrong about all this…
So what solutions do I offer, I don’t know, that’s what I’m saying, you’ll have to go with yer gut, right now, if nothing changes I’m voting Cain & Trump for 2012, at least that presidency would be something new, oh and entertaining for the kids…
The Republican Race for Second Place pt. 1

Okay well here we are, a few Republican primaries under our proverbial collective belts, and I thought it might be kind’a fun to look at where we are and to do a little prognosticatin’ bout where we might be headin. 
Alright so probably the best place to start is an overall view of the candidates, a bunch of yuksters, okay well so…wait what? Okay well ya’ want more than that. Overall view is that most of the candidates are big federal government supporters (all except save one but we’ll get to that Cat’s & Kittens) and that makes them not unlike their democrat rival, it’s just the details that then become definitive. Overall the candidates that are left in the race, though they may be Republicans, are definitely not conservative, or do not adhere to strict conservative values…
Quick aside for the vast majority of you who may possibly (someday) read this…I, like many people who call themselves conservative, believe in limited federal government, that’s why so many of us were angry with Bush during his last four years where he proved that he too believed the federal government was a tool to achieve his aims. To a conservative, this is no different than the democratic side of the aisle and why, in the long run it has been so hard to get the party to coalesce around this guy…
Mitt, Mitt, Mitt, what are ya gonna do? I mean I like ya, and I will probably vote for you if it comes to that, but there is a reason (beyond your smooth well polished delivery) that you are the Republican candidate of choice for our unbiased media here in America. I imagine you like to think that you are the media darling you are because of your flashy winning smile and intellectual yet charmingly disarming manner. If you do believe that I feel sorry fer ya’ cause the truth of course is much uglier, they like you because they know (as do many conservatives) that you are one of them, one of the cultural and monied elite. You believe, in the long run, as they do, that Government is the answer to the countries problems. I know you’re this great business whiz, and I like that, but will you treat the Government like one of the failing bushiness’s you acquired in your iron fisted ceo of Bain Capital days? Don’t get me wrong I mean that’s what I want you to do, I just don’t think you will. Sure you will trim some government programs and areas, policies, or pet projects that are solidly democrat to prove what a good conservative you are to your base, but you will also fail to address the real issue…wait what? You wanna know what I think the real issue is hold on let me fig..oh
okay how bout this…I slap this image I pulled off the net…I think that works for a starter….Also remember I am a reta…whoops promised Lil Mouse wouldn’t use that word (cause all you retard bastards keep whining)…but I’m gettin off track…ya see it’s worse ’cause we are not, as a country even paying off the interest on the national debt…It’s really like the housing crisis for the whole country except the bank in this instance is CHINA.. so ya see Mitt, can I call ya that, what I wanna know is how are you going to convince me that you are the guy for this job. Listen, I’m dumb when it comes to math, I mean not only am I not that good at it, i don’t wanna be good at it…not my thing, never gonna be an accountant…an area of life where my Dysfunction really shows and in some ways limited my earning potential…gettin way off track but what I’m tryin to say is that even I can grasp the concept that spending more than I am taking in will eventually result in my going broke and my ending up back on the street…why can’t you grasp that!?!
Okay so sorry Mitt, I got a little carried away and may have been talking more to my readers (all 2 of them) more than just you. I do like what you said regarding the very poor last night, and you are right so if ya’ don’t cave to media pressure and back track on the statement I will be pleasantly and supportively surprised. No matter what everybody else believes the Government cannot abolish poverty by taking from one group to give to another, the only winner in that scenario is Government. So if ya believe and are ready to end the war on poverty I am on board. Now how ’bout the next most costly and pointless war the drug war, how bout we end that? Oh no thats a good republican waste of money so that’s okay, is that how you see it?
And that becomes the nut of problem for most conservatives, so who do you vote for? How bout this guy
? Rick Santorum is also running for the Republican nomination and may hold distinction of being the first candidate to ever win the Iowa Caucus and to have said win ignored by the Media. Mr. Santorum seems like a sincere guy. It wasn’t but just recently however that his behavior was much more akin to Bush and Kerry and many other Washington elites, who no matter what side of the aisle they claim to be on they are spend to solve bandwagon jumpers,he is like so many in Washington really a member of the green, as in money, party. As to a head to head in national elections I’m sorry Mr. Santorum I really don’t believe you have a chance, the media will do to you what the Romans did to..oh wait there I go again and I don’t wanna go there…so the point is that you are literally far too right and far too white to win in a head to head election against Obama. Besides I’m not sure if you know this or not but many of the people who call themselves Republican’s don’t want the Federal Government to be involved in an issues like abortion either pro or con, leave that to communities, churches synagogues mosques what have you and people, local people and local city county state governments to decide…
See the Federal Government was only supposed to provide for the common defense of the states and to settle issues between them such as tariff disputes etc…I mean I don’t know why I’m telling you this, I mean, you probably are an expert in this stuff or at least know some one who is wait…how about our next Candidate oh but before I do lets split this blog up cause I’m hell’a long…

Okay well here we go, it’s been awhile, but that’s not ’cause I’ve been too busy…no really I’ve got some other projects going and they might be posted already but fer two things. One they are not compatible with the rest of my
Dysu crap really so they should go on a new page or even blog, however because of…Two, my new attempts are more…complicated to lay out on the page so I am looking for some co-authors, co-artists, co-posters if any one is interested…but I am off track because though I have been semi and occasionally busy with these projects, I also get discouraged and struggle to keep on task, struggle to believe that we are smart enough as a people to overcome and remain free…
Just let me give ya two recent examples. Here in my home town the city and county have received federal dollars to further attack smoking and smokers rights and they are, without mercy or mirth, doing just that. Now I realize that much of the rest of the country has already succumbed to this madness…but that’s why I moved here, to the frozen north, where people are tough independent and no nonsense, but here we are on the verge of making the smoking of legal nicotine products in all public spaces illegal.
And I know, I’m not stupid, many of you (who may possibly someday read this blog) are nodding yer wittle heads in agreement, “After all” you say “We must protect the chilren from the killers who chose to smoke near them because everyone knows it is a proven indisputable fact that 2nd hand smoke causes cancer.” EXCEPT…except…News Flash 2nd hand smoke has not been proven to cause cancer. It is very clear if you just stop and do a little research, but I know you won’t…you who want to believe the lie. And nothing the lil ol Dysu can say will change yer mind will it, but how about Penn & Teller the famous comedian magicians check this out if you still believe 2nd hand smoke has been proven to cause cancer..
Okay so you didn’t bother watching did you? See because it fits in with the rest of your schema (a psychology term, Greek in origin, go look it up) to continue to believe a lie, to believe the bs, as does the next crazy thing I am forced to listen to this morning…Mrs Obama’s call for tougher nutrition regulations for schools and the CBS news heads reactions to it. I haven’t heard it yet, just the promo, but I already know whuich way the wind will blow. They will see the wisdom, have experts that back the statistically moot pseudo science and all nod there heads in agreement. Of course they are balanced so they will give the opposite view a minute or so for rebuttal, then gently chide and mock him as they roll into the next segment.
But the critics are right we live in a nanny state indeed Big Motherville of Thee I Sing…it is far too late to put that genie back in the bottle.
But that’s only if you believe like I do, parnioidly dysfunctional
